Do you think every generation have to or will always experience the lost of a great young actor/musician?

It's like every young generation experience the lost of a great actor with a great career coming ahead but then poof! He is gone...I have to admit that I never thought my generation would go through the great, huge lost of the best promising raising actor that Heath Ledger was but just to be out of curiosity is it a curse? That every good actor, musician and artist in general go through a short life journey experience and then they leave us the mortals wanting more, wondering with an interrogation sign in our head that says what went wrong? was that our fault? gosh that was fast! In a glimpse he is here but then not, what was he/them really? An angel that came to earth to teach us about life ups and downs? the one time shot/opportunity life give us to try the road? the thin line between life and non-existence? A gift taken short? Something to good to be true and remain a bit more alive on earth?
