Economics Q; Total Cost Please help?

To me this is a vocabulary drill and the only answer is .a. Obviously total sales cant be the same as total cost. Revenues is money coming in like for sales. If the total cost of a thousand units was 50 dollars each unit cost pennies to make. How can one sell a Penny product for revenues so large. Stupid question on vocabulary.
