What are the problems anyone can face at Caracas International Airport?

I am a Nigerian and i will be flying from Sao Paulo to Havana but the flight will stop over in Caracas. I have heard a lot of bad stories about the Caracas airport in Venezuela especially for those who can not speak Spanish language. Please can anyone tell me more about the Caracas airport and also the problems anyone can encounter while transiting through the airport...Do i need a transit visa to transit in Caracas as a Nigerian.? If No...then how long can i stay in the airport?
