Why don't our legislators look at what is happening in Europe after 4 years of cap and trade?

in one way I am very concerned about the reckless behavior of our democratic controlled Congress. On the other hand, I hope that they are digging their own graves politically. If the American people don't respond by kicking these bums out then we may be seeing the beginning of the end for the union. There are a lot of people who are otherwise good Americans, that are starting to think that we need to get away from this nonsense. The last time we had this kind of issue was states rights, slavery and tidewater versus Piedmont which led to the American Civil war. Irresponsible spending and politically based poor legislation by Congress may be the next big issue that threatens the union.
